I obtained my B.S. in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University in 2010 and my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Rutgers University – New Brunswick in 2016. My doctoral advisor was Simon Thomas. Between July 2016 and September 2017, I was affiliated with Middle East Technical University as a post-doctoral researcher and a lecturer. Since September 2017, I have been an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics of Middle East Technical University.

My research interests are mainly in mathematical logic, more specifically in set theory. I am currently interested in the applications of descriptive set theory to other fields of mathematics such as topological dynamics, ergodic theory and group theory. You can find more information about my research on this page.
